There’s a great sense of collaboration here at Hollister—we’re team players.

There’s wonderful teamwork here at Hollister—we foster a high level of collaboration. When you work in developing new products, you’re often disconnected from the end users of the products. Here our new product development team gets to interact closely with our customers and create medical devices that are personal. Our products are kept in purses, backpacks, and bathrooms. In order for our customers to have the best possible experience, we all have to work together to design products that become almost invisible in their lives.

I’ll be honest—when I first heard the Immutable Principles at Hollister of dignity of the person, stewardship, service and integrity, I thought, “Yeah, yeah, I’ve heard it all before.” But it’s more than corporate speak—it’s real. For me, stewardship is the standout principle. Leaving the company in a better place than when you joined—I work on it every day.

During my four years here at Hollister, the company continues to challenge me and allows me to progress and develop my career. This is important to me and I’ve been given great opportunities to develop both personally and professionally. I’ve progressed from senior new product development engineer to my current role as project manager in new project development. It’s absolutely been fantastic.
